Since its opening in 2014, the Center in Delhi has enabled University of Chicago to deepen its ties and advance collaboration across many fields of academic inquiry in India. The Center in Delhi supports UChicago scholars and their collaborators in India by providing them with resources and support to make new connections and to develop and execute impactful research. The resulting collaborations have directly enriched scholarship and research in these fields and have contributed to the growing ties between the people, institutions of India, and the United States. The Center is also home to a variety of educational and social activities for the vibrant local alumni community and the general public.
