2016 Civic Leadership Academy

The Civic Leadership Academy at the University of Chicago is a leadership development program for rising professionals in nonprofit organizations and local government agencies within the City of Chicago and Cook County.

Developed by the University of Chicago Office of Civic Engagement, in partnership with LISC Chicago and the Civic Consulting Alliance, the program is designed to develop a pipeline of talented leaders to help nonprofits and government agencies thrive.

In 2016, the Fellows travelled to the University of Chicago’s Center in Delhi for a week long global training designed to immerse fellows in differing perspectives constructed to illuminate civic issues in Chicago and inspire innovative cross-sector collaboration.
