Beyond theory, this conversation dives into the material realities of the archive: the institutions that hold it, the people who sustain it, and the subjective, often precarious, experience of researchers navigating it. As India's rich literary and historical record continues to face the challenges of ephemerality, this panel unpacks the epistemic stakes of archival work across diverse materials, communities, and institutions.
