In our continuing quest to advance humanity in medicine, the Bucksbaum Institute for Clinical Excellence, University of Chicago in collaboartion with Medical Humanities Group of University College of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi, and Delhi Medical Council proudly present the third phase of the highly successful Disarming Dialogues program inaugurated in 2016.

Through DD-SPEAK, participants interacted with experts in the fields of story-telling, poetry, ethics and writing, and were able to:

  • Discuss how stories influence reflection and learning
  • Identify real-life stories that highlight issues of ethics and professionalism
  • Describe how to use stories in health professions education and mentoring
