As the country embarks on its G20 Summit presidency, the nation continues to scale new heights. India is the fifth largest economy by GDP; the value of transactions under the Unified Payment Interface has crossed $1 trillion with 100 monthly active users; and two billion COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered seamlessly.

At this historically significant juncture, the University of Chicago's Harris School of Public Policy and Center in Delhi is honored to host Dr. V. Ananth Nageshwaran, Chief Economic Advisor to the Government of India to talk about the G20 issues that mirror India's socio-economic aspirations, as well as the newly published Economic Survey of India. He will be joined in conversation with Jaithirth (Jerry) Rao, University of Chicago alumnus, and founder of Mphasis.
