On December 2, 2024, the UChicago Center in Delhi hosted a full-day workshop led by Professor Sanjog Misra, Charles H. Kellstadt Distinguished Service Professor of Marketing and Applied AI at the Booth School of Business, University of Chicago. Titled Analytics Using AI, the session was part of the Center for Applied Artificial Intelligence’s effort to bring cutting-edge analytical tools to professionals and students in India. The workshop introduced participants to foundational AI and analytics concepts and offered hands-on guidance in applying GPT and large language models (LLMs) to real-world decision-making and predictive modelling. Attendees explored the transformative role AI is playing in the future of business analytics. Designed for participants with varied levels of exposure to AI, the event underscored the Booth School’s commitment to interdisciplinary and global learning. Applications for the workshop were open by invitation, with a curated cohort selected for this high engagement learning experience.
